PINNIES
Aprons or pinnies are making a bit of a revival and I for one am glad. They disappeared for a while.... (apparently women in the sixties burned their aprons along with their bras!!) There's a whole new era of women rediscovering the practicalities of the humble apron...not to mention aprons as a fashion statement!! I just read "The apron book" "Making, wearing and sharing a bit of cloth and comfort" by EllyAnne Geisel. It is a wonderful insight into aprons from all walks of life. Complete with recipes!

I am so glad aprons are making a comeback...you can often find them in opportunity shops....I must keep my eyes open from now on. Suzie (Darwin)
