PAPER AND PRINT

I have joined the paper and print studio at "Wallace house" in Noosa, Queensland. It has been really inspiring to meet such a creative group of people and to learn new skills....so far I have been making recycled paper and banana fibre paper and am now ready to do some printmaking. The prints above are on the wall of the studio unfortunately they are not signed.

I feel very privileged  to have such creative friends. It was my birthday recently and 2 of my oldest buddies came to stay. Each produced a piece of art especially for me!! The gauche painting above is by Michael Kemp and the hand coloured print below is by Wendy Ampt.

birthday collages

One of the small pleasures in life is the celebration of birthdays. I love to make personalised cards for my friends

capturing a bit of their personalities. Inspired by Randel Plowman from acollageaday.com I created these small collage cards.

The King of the Castle

Aaron is the king of the sandcastles in Noosa. He has been perfecting his creations for the past 8 years, giving pleasure to young and old with his magical touch. This one took 3 hours to produce and is apparently one of his more simple designs!! I'll be going back to the boardwalk over the next few weeks to check out

future works so watch this space....
