Pencil alphabet
Dalton ghetti is a totally amazing pencil sculptor. To be able to create these wonderful minature works of art on the tip of a graphite pencil astounds me. He apparently uses only 3 tools ...a razor blade, a sewing needle and a small sculpting knife and never sells his works but gives them away to friends. Oh to be a friend of his!!

EUREKA!!
I have just been visiting Eureka Springs in northern Arkansas.....an incredibly charming town built in a steep ravine...its buildings date back to the Victorian era and if you close your eyes you can imagine scenes of saloon bars and dancing gals. I took these photos in the back streets.

Anyhow have a Winfield!!
I have just been visiting Winfield Kansas, domain of Dorothy and the yellow brick road and the Walnut Valley music festival......I found this mural on a back street. It was apparently done by a local teacher.

Ring Ring..... Why don't you give me a call???
Vintage, antique and collectable shops are a blow out in America. Talk about packed with eye candy not to mention the memories they provoke. I am having a lovely time browsing my way through Kansas at the moment. Currently in a wonderful town called Winfield.

HANGING OUT IN BRISBANE
I recently spent the day checking out Brisbane (which is in Queensland on the east coast of Australia)......having never been there before I was pleasantly surprised by the hip and quirky nature of the place. Lots of unique shops, vintage finds, interesting architecture and a few back alleys adorned with street art. I am sure there is a lot more of all of the above so hopefully I will return sometime to explore the city further.

CHEERS TO YOU UKRAINE!!
I have have had over 200 hits from the Ukraine in the last
month!!! So in celebration of your patronage and for making me smile, I am posting this photo of Australia's happiest bird, the Kookaburra ( also known as the laughing jackass).
